Rachel has served as a Bible study leader, life group leader, retreat speaker, and member of her church’s pastoral care team. She has navigated through several significant church conflicts and walked alongside ministry leaders for many years. She joined the BetterDays counseling team in the fall of 2021.

Rachel’s calling is to promote the healthy functioning and flourishing of each member of the Body of Christ while paying special attention to the leaders in her midst. She lives out this call by welcoming, connecting, knowing, encouraging, and providing structure. She is trained and has interest in issues such as grief, suffering, depression, anxiety, conflict, women’s issues, and life transitions.

She lives in San Antonio, TX with her husband. They have two teenagers and a child in college. She is passionate about teaching, learning, feasting, hiking, photography, and the color green.
