Equipped to Counsel: Biblical Counseling Training

Side-by-Side Group (Coming this Fall!)

In the Christian life, everyone needs help, and everyone is called to help. Our Side by Side  Group is an opportunity for you to grow in the skill of asking for help and helping others well. If you want to grow in recognizing your need and asking for help or want to be better equipped to talk about things that matter with the people God has placed in your life, this group is for you. Please consider joining us as we dive into Side by Side by Ed Welch in an intimate women-only small group setting.

This study is practical and grounded in Scripture. Each week, we will discuss two chapters  (about 11-12 pages of reading in total). The class runs for nine weeks. Meetings are a mix of lectures, discussions, and practice.

This investment of your time will be refreshing and fruitful for you and the people you know and love.

Men’s Sexual Purity Cohort

Our Men’s Sexual Purity Cohort is an eight week group therapy experience lead by one of our BetterDays counselors. In this cohort you will be guided through discussions over topics framed by David Powlison’s book, “Making All Things New.” Open to those who have struggled with and are seeking healing from unwanted sexual thoughts and/or actions.

Church Partnerships

Pastors and church leaders are on the front lines of helping the hurting. This can be overwhelming to bear along with the work of ministry and life. Our Church Partnership program offers personal counseling support to church staff and leadership. Though the frontline of support, not all pastors are skilled or trained counselors. Sometimes people need more help than pastors have the time or training to offer. A Church Partnership can be the solution to this need. We help various churches meet the needs of both staff and congregation.

Tell us about your church and your needs and learn more about how church partnerships can serve you and your church body.

Stay in the loop.
