Sarah began counseling in 2008, serving in different settings ranging from domestic violence shelter to church counseling center. She spent the past eleven years serving overseas where she was able to counsel individuals, couples, and teens, as well as equip parents through training in child development and parenting principles.
Through her experience living overseas, raising kids overseas, and working in ministry both overseas and church ministry in Texas, she is keenly aware of the challenges and struggles that ministry families face, as well as the opportunities for great healing and growth.

Sarah lives in The Woodlands, TX with her husband and four kids. Books are her love language: reading them, sharing them, discussing them. When not reading, she likes writing, storytelling, and getting nerdy about words and grammar. She enjoys indoor rock climbing with her kids, piano music, taking new adventures, and discovering obscure historical events.
